Quick post today…

by ministamper

Hello, just a quick one today because I promised to blog everyday and I also said I would come back with another creation using the Stampin’ Up! Box #2 Die. I am in the process of making changes to my website, which to you, will not really look like much, but I can assure you I have spent long painstaking hours trying to work this out, for one thing I need to upload ALL of my previous posts one by one if I want to still have them on my new blog, so they might all look like they have been posted over a couple of days… oh well, better now than in 3 years time…

I thought I would make up a little box to house the little stamps that I give away as Hostess Gifts… Do you like?

And here he is with lots of box filler, I love this stuff…

It’s all in Box #2…

by ministamper

Like I have said in previous posts, I love to re-wrap and today is no exception, no offence to the Crabtree & Evelyn box designers, but we Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators like to put our own stamp on things (did you like that pun…LOL…)

Today I have decorated a box that I made using the exclusive Stampin’ Up! Box #2 Die, a very simple project with fantastic results, all you do is run the cardstock through the Stampin’ Up! Big Shot Die cutting machine, stick together and decorate in your favourite Stampin’ Up! DSP and Embellishments.

A couple of pics showing the box open and closed.

This is the soap that I have placed into the box, it’s a perfect fit (and scent).

Tomorrow or the next day I will show you this box in another colour. Thanks for stopping by.

Altered Cricut Box…Friends Never Fade…

by ministamper

I love making handmade gifts, I guess this is why I love Stampin’ Up! so much, because I have everything I need to make whatever I want, in coordinating colours. You can make your own boxes with Stampin’ Up! cardstock but will be limited to the size and also the weight of items that can be placed inside, therefore on the odd occasion that a more sturdy box is required you can do one of two things, either buy a cheap box and decorate it or source unused boxes from around your home, never throw things like these away.

For this project I used an empty cricut cartridge box that was given to me by a friend (she actually gave me quite a few… more fool her I say… LOL…), so maybe i’ll give her this as a thank you gift. I decorated the outside with the absolutely gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Crisp DSP, and the Stampin’ Up! Top Note Die which was embossed with the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder and finished off with Stampin’ Up! Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, I then placed 12 very cute 7X7 handmade cards inside.

I will show a few with different designs in other posts.

This is the inside of the box, I have made a partition inside and it holds plenty of my handmade 7X7 Birthday and Thank You cards, these little cards fit perfectly inside the Stampin’ Up! Mini Square Envelopes
